Horses afflicted with neck injuries, including cervical vertebral stenotic myelopathy (CVSM), are often left with life-threatening neurological impairment. To bolster knowledge of this disease, scientists in Poland and Germany set out to determine the prevalence of CVSM in a large population of European horses and to reveal key reference points for diagnosis and management of the disease.*
